PEMF therapy
Pulsed electromagnetic field sessions: you sit or lie back while a loop or pad delivers gentle, low-frequency magnetic pulses.
What PEMF is
PEMF stands for pulsed electromagnetic field. A PEMF device sends gentle magnetic pulses through a loop or pad placed on or near the body. Many devices, including ours, work at low frequencies around 8 Hz, the Earth’s Schumann resonance, and its harmonics.
PEMF technology has been around for decades. Physicians, chiropractors, naturopaths and even veterinarians use PEMF devices in their practices.
A session
You stay dressed and sit or lie on a treatment table while the loop rests on the area you’re working on, such as the neck or the lower back. The session is quiet; many people simply relax.
PEMF is offered alongside chiropractic care. Dr. Mary will tell you whether it fits your plan of care, and how people respond differs from person to person.
