Adjustments

An adjustment is a quick, controlled movement applied to a joint of the spine that isn’t moving as it should. It’s also called chiropractic manipulation or spinal manipulation. Dr. Mary uses several techniques, including a drop table, and chooses what suits you and how you feel that day.

Back pain

Back pain is common: about eight in ten people have it at some point in their lives. But it isn’t all the same. Strained muscles, sprained ligaments, trigger points, arthritis, disc problems, inflamed joints and sports injuries can all cause it, in different parts of the back. That’s why the exam comes first.

Corrective exercises

Muscles and connective tissue matter as well as bones. Dr. Mary shows you exercises that strengthen and support the areas that are giving you trouble, and most of them can be done at home.

Wellness care

Getting healthier doesn’t mean salads at every meal. Start small: what’s one thing you do every day that you could swap for something healthier, like a bottle of water instead of a can of soda? We’re happy to help you pick a first step.

Is chiropractic right for you? Ask at your first visit. Dr. Mary explains what she finds before any care begins.
